Supersport 750/900

In 1972, at the legendary Imola racetrack in Italy, an untested team of Ducati riders with an
unproved new 750SS L-Twin motorcycle competed against the world's best riders, including the
dominant champion, MV Augusta rider Giacomo Agostini. After a single lap, the two Ducati riders
took the lead from Agostini and commanded the race, finishing first and second.

That Ducati racing heritage now reaches into the future with the new 2000 Supersport 750 and 900.
Both are powered by fuel injected L-Twins with 2 valves per cylinder utilizing the celebrated
Desmodromic system. Combine that L-Twin power with 4-piston Brembo calipers and dual floating
rotors up front, twin piston calipers in the rear, and hand welded tubular chrome moly trestle frame.
The result? The 2000 Ducati Supersport. An ideal combination of performance, handling, and
exhilaration.
